hehe…I was reading through a friend’s blog and I notice she uses the word gauge. So, the first time I stumble on to this word was during my training session at IBM. Lenovo calls the battery indicator located at the taskbar a battery gauge.

Since I had a question about that battery indicator, dengan penuh confident-nya I sebut gauge tu GouSH. bwahahahahhahaha ….sangat memalukan ok! saper kata my English is good?? sekarang angkat tangan. Then the trainer did corrected me laa kan but as usual it didn’t stuck in my head.

While I was answering the calls, I had to do some troubleshooting steps first to confirm the problem that customers are facing and guess what?? only now I realize that no wonder they do not understand me since the thing that I was referring was mispronounce by yours truly. hahahhaha . OMG! Lawak gila terasa sekarang. The right way to pronounce gauge is geyj. I hope non of my colleague heard me back then…hahaha!!

Sometimes when I talk to Singaporeans, I always thought that they do not understand Bahasa Melayu. Actually they do because they are Malays kat sana jugak….serious aku nie mental prob….

p/s: It’s good to admit your fault sometimes because that is what makes you human and do learn from it.
